Rebuilding New Orleans

Build It Back Green

Green Building Resource Center

Build It Back Green (BIBG) is a free service offered to help you rebuild your home in a more energy efficient and healthy way. Global Green has received funding for this program from local and national foundations to assist New Orleans homeowners receiving Road Home grants.

BIBG’s goal is to make you aware of the lowest cost green rebuilding techniques, focusing on energy efficiency, water savings and indoor air quality.

In addition to providing you with the materials and links on this site, Global Green will be presenting regular neighborhood-based workshops throughout the city, and encouraging you to visit our New Orleans Resource Center located downtown at 841 Carondelet Street, and the zero energy Global Green House in the Holy Cross neighborhood of the Lower 9th Ward at 409 Andry St.
